Je me suis beaucoup identifiée à Marc, et ce livre m'a aidée à mieux assumer ma frugalité naturelle et à m'en servir comme une force et un guide qui vient nourrir des valeurs profondes - ce qui compte vraiment dans la vie, l'essentiel. Auch die Artikel sind sehr interessant und vermitteln das Gefühl, sich über ein Thema austauschen zu können, über das man in seinem Umfeld nur schwer sprechen kann.

Un très bon livre plein de bons plans, de mon côté je suis un adepte du forum de longue date donc j'ai eu moins eu de découvertes que des "débutants" dans ce domaine. Cet achat de livre est surtout pour soutenir Marc pour ce merveilleux forum qu'il a pu bâtir.

Ein sehr gutes Buch voller toller Tipps. Ich bin selbst schon seit Langem ein aktiver Nutzer des Forums, daher gab es für mich weniger Neues zu entdecken als für «Neulinge» auf diesem Gebiet. Ich habe das Buch vor allem gekauft, um Marc für dieses wunderbare Forum zu unterstützen, das er aufgebaut hat.

A really great book full of useful tips. Personally, I’ve been a long-time member of the forum, so I didn’t discover as much as “newcomers” to this field. I bought this book mainly to support Marc for the wonderful forum he’s built.

J’ai lu ce livre en quelques jours, c’est tellement intéressant que j’ai déjà mis en application quelques préceptes pour moi. J’en ai parlé dans mon entourage et offert à chacun de mes fils cet ouvrage en espérant qu’il vont suivre cette voie.

I read this book in just a few days; it’s so interesting that I’ve already put some of its principles into practice in my own life. I’ve talked about it with my friends and family and gave a copy to each of my sons, hoping they’ll follow this path.

I read the book 2 years ago, my testimonial is clearly late but on purpose: I wanted to give myself some time to try some of the tips. At the beginning I wasn't convinced, especially with the internet trick. At the end, it's my favorite one, because it's so simple. And let me be honest, I read the book end 2024, end 2025 my wife and I bought our first apartment.

I regained a sense of power and structure over things, and in 2 weeks I changed banks, moved my pillar 3a (closed the stupid 'mandatory life insurance') […] Also... I just did my [Interactive Brokers] trial and bought my first stock!

J'ai lu ce livre il y a deux ans ; mon témoignage arrive clairement tard, mais c'est volontaire : je voulais me laisser le temps de mettre en pratique certains de ces conseils. Au début, je n'étais pas convaincu, surtout en ce qui concerne l'astuce concernant Internet. Au final, c'est celle que je préfère, justement parce qu'elle est si simple. Et pour être honnête, j'ai lu ce livre fin 2024, et fin 2025, ma femme et moi avons acheté notre premier appartement.

I can't thank you enough for your clarity and aptitude for describing just enough without provoking overwhelm, and then all the detailed how-to's to make everything doable.

Ich habe das Buch vor zwei Jahren gelesen, meine Rezension kommt zwar deutlich verspätet, aber das war Absicht: Ich wollte mir etwas Zeit nehmen, um einige der Tipps auszuprobieren. Anfangs war ich nicht überzeugt, vor allem was den Internet-Trick angeht. Am Ende ist er mein Favorit, weil er so einfach ist. Und um ehrlich zu sein: Ich habe das Buch Ende 2024 gelesen, Ende 2025 haben meine Frau und ich unsere erste Wohnung gekauft.

Hallo Marc,  Ein doppelter Gewinn: Zum einen, um meinen Ruhestand in vier Monaten vorzubereiten, mit (deutlich) weniger Geld, um (gut) leben zu können, und zum anderen, um es mit meinem zukünftigen Schwiegersohn zu teilen, der gerade sein Leben zu zweit beginnt und nur ein kleines Lehrlingsgehalt hat.
